FOR THE LOVE OF FASHION

The folks from Mario Badescu were nice enough to send me some amazing products to try and I am about to throw all of my other skin products out. Ok, maybe I’ll save them for those in-between days, but for real, I am a new MB devotee! I have been using them for almost a week now and I see a significant improvement in my skin.

First is the Enzyme Cleansing Gel that is amazingly fresh with Alpha Hydroxy Acid, papaya and grapefruit to rejuvenate dull skin. It wakes me up in the morning.

Next is the Cucumber Lotion, the perfect toner that doesn’t dry out my skin. It makes me think of the cucumber water they serve at Mario Tricoci in Chicago.

Then comes the MB Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 17. I love that it isn’t 15 or 20, but 17. Don’t ask why. It is nice and lightweight for summer and it has a pleasant light scent as opposed to that gross sunscreen smell.

I am also trying the Drying Lotion, which you spot on zits before bed, or in my case, I walk around my apartment spotty and scare my roommates. I just read in June’s InStyle that this is also Liv Tyler’s must-have that she has used her “whole life.” It is amazing and drys those suckers right out. It also apparently sooths mosquito bites and ingrown hairs. Score.

Finally is the Buffering Lotion. It smooths and refines my skin like no other product.
