Model Alert: Yuri Pleskun
Although I work in fashion, I haven’t been one to follow the modeling world too closely. My roommate Leigh, who was a model agent when we met, turned on my radar.
Recently I became a fan of Yuri Pleskun after I saw him walk the Maria Cornejo S/S 2010 show this year.
So– I was thrilled when one of my fav stylists that I work with, Michelle Carimpong, did this amazing shoot for I <3 Fake Magazine. Check out my fav pics!

Graphic Tees — Tacky?
I love graphic tees that make me laugh. My brother Danny is one of those cool Williamsburg hipster types and always pulls them off. I always ponder whether I can pull them off while remaining “downtown chic.”
My quest for graphic tees has brought me from fabulously tacky Bingo Fashion tees (be your gram for Halloween!) to fabulous tees like this:

Fluffy Rainbow Cakes
Now that I remember what it is like to NOT have the flu, I feel like a million bucks! Everything is making me happy like a 5-year-old. Currently, I am loving this happy rainbow cake from Fresh Direct.
I got giddy and decided I’d wait to order it for a certain someone’s pending birthday. Then I thought, maybe I will get creative and make my own!? How cute would this be in cupcake form? So I tooled around the internet. Look at all of the adorable rainbow baked goods I found:

The Flu is Not in Fashion
Oh. My. Freaking. Goodness.
I just came out of a 13 day bout with the flu. I went to the doc to get tested and it wasn’t Swine Flu aka H1N1, just the regular seasonal flu. Still– IT KNOCKED ME OUT! I had fevers that shot up to almost 105 degrees, felt like total crap, and watched TV to the point where I now never want to watch again. Did you know the typical flu lasts 7-14 days? I didn’t. I will now be getting an annual flu shot.
GET YOUR FLU SHOT, lovies.
It’s good to be back. Ahhh– time to get through 800 emails so please be patient if you’ve contacted me. :o)
